             The Myth

I believe there is a terrible myth about Democrats. It goes something like, if you are Christian, you have to be Republican. This is a lie from the pit of hell. To accurately access a person's faith you must ask, "Do they walk by the Spirit of God?" Is the fruit of the Spirit evident in their lives?  The current guy in office spews hate in tweets, divides with cruel rhetoric and his actions hurt many lives throughout America.

If I could I would march in protest with the BLM movement. I would do it because police singling out people and shooting them because they are black is preposterous! The guy that is currently in the oval office thinks that people in the KKK are good people.

Most republicans bash Democrats because of the issue of abortion. Let me be clear, I do not agree with abortion but I do agree with God when He gave us all freedom of choice. If we take that choice away then women who find themselves reaching out for harmful ways to have abortions. I would hope that many in that position would elect adoption over abortion but I am not the one to make that choice for them. The same goes for contraceptives. I believe that abstinence is a better way. However,  I cannot make that choice for them and God doesn't either.

This country is a melting pot of many peoples. We need reform to assist immigrants in becoming citizens. If a person has been working in this nation to pay taxes, we shouldn't throw them out separating them from their children. I lost my mom at 8 years of age. I can't imagine the chaos and pain that confronted the thousands of children at the border.

Many of the solutions the president has offered us has caused more division and chaos than help.

You have heard If it walks like a duck acts like a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck. In the same manner, if a president is in office and he doesn't talk like a president, act like a president, or unites America as a president, then my friends he should not be president.

I am MARCHING! I am marching on Facebook! I am Marching for equality for all peoples. I want to as John Lewis always spoke of to cause "Good Trouble." I want to march here figuratively speaking for the following: Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ, Voting rights for all, for people with disabilities, against COVID 19, for changes in our government that would assist the poor and help immigrants. March with me by replying I am Marching with you! let's cause "good trouble"!

In 1961, a man named William Barbee was a part of the Freedom Riders. Just as George Floyd, he too suffered a foot on his neck because of his color. He also suffered from a pen that had been stuck in his ear. He was paralyzed all the rest of his life, until his death in the 1980s. I realize Mr. Floyd was not protesting as Mr. Barbbe was. However, it made me wonder, did the cop know about the incident? It is not likely maybe it's a common act of a racist.

I am writing all these rants is that there seems to be the same unrest today as it was in the 1960s. There is a whole lot of hatred going on! I used to say, "Well, you can't change human nature." However, perhaps you can help others see the error of their ways.

Will we? Why doesn't the republican party hear and see Mr. Trump's actions as repulsive? Why do they turn the other way?

I have posted 3 news feeds here on Facebook, and have only received a few remarks from my fellow Democrats. Where are you guys? Democrats and Republicans where in the heck are you?

Do you care that people are dying because of there color, that immigrants are being separated from their families, and that our president tweets awful things to hurt people?

Let me tell you what might just happen if Trump is reelected.

I believe he is aiming to become a dictator like his buddy Putin. Mr. Putin is training him in order to take over this country. Right now Russia is bombing the heck out of our boys overseas. He is not on our side. Wake up America! Wake up! We must stop being so divided and see what is going on. America is not great again.

Trump denies that there a pandemic or that it is as bad as it is.

If we do not stand as one nation, we will fall. Don't take it from me, Abraham Lincoln said it! Vote people and vote blue to save our country!
